State bank of India is a multinational public sector bank headquartered in Mumbai. It is the 43rd largest bank in the world.  It is ranked 221st in the Fortune Global 500. It is equipped with all the facilities to make banking easy for its customers. State bank of India provides Net banking facility to carry out banking activities from anywhere and anytime. The Net banking facility of SBI enables the customers to transfer money from one account to another account in SBI, make bill payments, open fixed or recurring deposit or PPF account, requesting a checkbook, issue demand draft, etc.

How to register for SBI Net Banking 

Follow the given steps to register in SBI Net banking 

  • Go to www.onlinesbi.com
  • Select the ‘New User Registration/Activation’ option
  • Then click on ‘Next’. 
  • Fill in the details asked and click on ‘Submit.
  • Enter the One Time password (OTP) sent on the mobile number and click on ‘Confirm’.
  • Click on ‘I have my ATM card (online registration without branch visit) and click on ‘Submit. 
  • Validate the ATM credentials and click on ‘Proceed’. 
  • Enter the Login Password and click on ‘Submit. On doing that the registration will be done successfully. 

How to login to SBI Net Banking

Follow the given steps to log in to SBI Net Banking 

  • Go to www.onlinesbi.com 
  • Click on the ‘login’ option.
  • Then click on ‘Continue to Login’.
  • Fill in the Username and Password.
  • Enter the image Captcha and select the ‘Logic’ option.

How to Reset SBI Net Banking Password

The password of SBI Net Banking can be set by the following methods:

  • Going to the branch.
  • Using the profile password.
  • Using the details of the ATM card. 

How to Reset SBI Net Banking Password using the ‘Forgot Login Password’ option

To change the SBI Net Banking using the ‘Forgot Login Password’ option, follow the steps given below:

  • Go to www.onlinesbi.com
  • Select the ‘Forgot Login Password’ from the dropdown menu and click on ‘Next. 
  • Fill in the details.
  • Enter the text displayed in the image and click on ‘Submit.
  • Fill in the One Time Password and click on Submit.
  • Reset the Login Password.

How to check account balance using SBI Net Banking

Follow the given steps to check the Balance in SBI Account.

  • Go to www.onlinesbi.com
  • Login to the account using user ID and password.
  • Select the ‘Click here for Balance’ option.
  • The details of the bank account will be on the screen.

How to transfer funds to other bank accounts through SBI Net Banking.

To transfer funds from one bank account to another follow the given steps 

  • Login to the account using User ID and password. 
  • Select the ‘Payment/Transfer’ option.
  • Select the ‘Other Bank Transfer’ under the ‘Outside SBI’ option.
  • Select the Transaction type and click on ‘Proceed’.
  • Fill in the amount to be transferred.
  • Click on ‘Submit’.
  • Verify the filled details and click on ‘confirm’.
  • Enter the security password sent on the registered mobile number and click on ‘Confirm’.
